An auction house in London is selling a first-edition of Charles Darwin’s The Origin of the Species, found in Oxford inside a family’s home on a bookshelf in a guest bathroom.
The book is in near-mint condition, missing page 27 and the top half of page 162, used ironically to wipe the bottoms of the most evolved species on the planet.
